Bruce was a non-executive Director of 10 portfolio companies covering various sectors including: infrastructure services, healthcare, information services, media, engineering services, tourism, FCMG, transport and others. He was also a member of Kagiso Group's Executive Committee and the capital raising team, responsible for raising various commitments from strategic from strategic partners. He was formally with Rothschild based in Johannesburg, specialising in the merger and acquistions. Prior to Rothschild he was formally with the HSBC in Johannesburg where he was an Associate in the Mining and Diversified team. Prior to returning to South Africa in 2002, Bruce was at CIT Corporate Finance based in New York, where he gained experience in the organisation, structuring and execution of leverage buyouts, mergers and acquitisions in various industries.
